Peace Col-In

Peace Col-In was a collaborative peace education fellowship project between Youth for Peace International in India in Asociatión Somos CaPAZes in Colombia. Supported by the Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (NOREC), this project marked an innovative approach that used international exchange as a means for building peace. The program brought together four young people from India and Colombia who travelled to each other's country for a ten-month period to learn about the peacebuilding context of their host country, work in remote communities affected by conflict, and support their host organisations in daily operations. The primary goal of this fellowship was to create micro-learning e-modules discussing various aspects of peace education to make the general population aware of their role in building peace along with imparting practical tools and skills to be used in daily lives.
